These days, phones are more like portable entertainment systems. It's a hybrid mobile device for gaming, texting, watching movies, and listening to music more than it is an actual "phone" that you talk on.

While the person who is calling you may not be all that annoying, the fact that their call interrupted your Netflix or Reddit time certainly is. While you can always pick up their call and minimize the dialer to continue what you're doing, wouldn't it be easier to do both at the same time?

That is the entire concept behind AntTek's app Call PopOut. It replaces your dialer's incoming call screen with a chat head-like notification that allows you to pick up a call, reject a call, and toggle the speaker.

Best of all, it doesn't require root, so you can use it with either the HTC One M7 or M8, as well as any other Android phone running 2.2 and above.

Call PopOut is free to download directly from Google Play. By default, the chat head will be enabled on every app, but you can also set it to only work in certain apps, and you can do that directly from the app's main menu.

There are also options to change the size, position, and answer behavior of the chat head. Other than that, there is not much to Call PopOut—it just does what it's supposed to.

If you ever want to go back to your default dialer, either disable the app completely or disable the keep popout on pickup option. That would make it so you keep the chat head on an incoming call, but it does show in your dialer app once you pick up.
